Spinach, Pear & Fetta Salad


  • Spinach Leaves
  • 2 brown pears, cored and sliced thinly (green pears can be used too)
  • Pecan nuts, or roasted Pine Nuts
  • 1/2 red onion or white salad onion, sliced thinly
  • 120 grams Fetta, crumbled
  • Lemon Juice
  • 1 tablespoon Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper to season


  1. Place spinach leaves in serving bowl.
  2. Combine the sliced pears well with a decent amount of lemon juice.
  3. Combine the onions, red wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar and extra virgin olive oil in a bowl and mix together.
  4. Now add the pears with lemon juice, onions & dressing, nuts and fetta to the spinach leaves.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.


  • Substitute the Spinach leaves for Rocket leaves.
  • Substitute the pears, for Figs & Prosciutto.
